66. Mellon⁸ NYE (Elisha⁷, Elisha⁶, Joseph⁵, Peleg⁴, John³, Benjamin², Thomas¹, Thomas^A, Ralph^B, William^C, Randolf^D, Bertolf^E, Nils^F, Marten^G) was born in Fairfield, Somerset, Maine 20 Jul 1828. Mellon died 17 Aug 1864 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 36 years of age.

He married Ann HORSFALL Aft 1851. Ann was born 15 Mar 1837. She was the daughter of Joseph HORSFALL and Mary. Ann died 25 Dec 1905 in Mt Hope, Grant, Wisconsin, at 68 years of age.

Mellon NYE and Ann HORSFALL had the following children:
